My artistic practice is entirely self-taught, shaped through years of independent study, observation, and a deep reverence for the history of painting. Influenced by masters such as Bouguereau, Caravaggio, Sargent, Rockwell, Rembrandt, Gérôme, and Vermeer, encountering these works in person profoundly shaped how I understand light, composition, and storytelling through paint.

Living in Florida provides an endless source of inspiration. The people, environments, and everyday moments that appear in my work are not imagined fantasies, but reflections of a distinctly American culture that exists all around me. I am drawn to subjects that feel honest, familiar, and deeply human—capturing narratives that are both personal and universal.

Each painting is approached as a story told through observation and craftsmanship, carrying forward the tradition of figurative painting while remaining firmly rooted in the present. My goal is to create work that feels timeless—paintings that invite viewers to return again and again, discovering something new with each encounter.
